Varuförsörjningen is a collaboration between the regions of Uppsala, Dalarna, Västmanland, Sörmland, and Örebro. Every year, they purchase goods worth nearly 2 billion SEK. Now, they have chosen Litium’s platform as the core of their new e-commerce solution.
The decision to choose Litium is based on the need to modernize their current system, make operations more efficient, and improve the user experience. With Litium, Varuförsörjningen will implement a strong and modern product administration system that reduces errors by integrating processes and minimizing manual work. This will create a simpler, clearer, and better ordering experience for the regions and municipalities they work with. The chosen solution partner for the project is Consid.
“We are happy to have selected Litium as our platform for PIM, CMS, and digital commerce. This will help us take control of our purchasing data, streamline processes, and modernize varuforsorjningen.se,” says Jenny Linder, E-Commerce Manager at Varuförsörjningen. “Litium is well suited for B2B, and Consid has experience in the public sector – together, we are now taking a big step forward.”
“At Litium, we are proud and excited to be a key part of Varuförsörjningen’s digital transformation. Winning this competitive bid shows the strength and flexibility of our platform. We look forward to improving the ordering experience and making internal processes more efficient. This partnership also strengthens our presence in the public sector, which has the potential to become an important strategic area for Litium and create new growth opportunities,” says Patrik Settlin, CEO of Litium.
Varuförsörjningen supplies healthcare, dental care, and other services with consumable goods through procurement, follow-up, support, storage, and distribution. About 50% of the order volume is handled by a third-party distributor.
