Litium acquires Geins – Building the Nordic region’s strongest AI offering for digital commerce

Litium takes the next step in its growth journey by acquiring the SaaS company Geins. Through this acquisition, Litium strengthens its position as one of the Nordic region’s leading players in digital commerce and accelerates the development of AI-driven and automated solutions for both the B2B and B2C segments. The acquisition of Geins increases Litium’s annual revenue by approximately SEK 9 million, bringing the company’s total to nearly SEK 90 million. The annual profit contribution is estimated at around SEK 3–5 million, expected to reach full effect within one year from the acquisition date.

“By combining Litium’s established platform with Geins’ modern SaaS architecture and expertise in AI and automation, we can truly increase customer value. We see clear opportunities to automate parts of the customer journey, making the solutions both more scalable and cost-efficient for our customers. This acquisition is an important milestone in our growth journey,” says Martin Billenius, CEO of Litium.

Geins, already used by brands such as Bubbleroom, Nymans Ur and Platinumcars, offers a true SaaS, API-first commerce platform. The company has built unique expertise in AI and automation, which now becomes part of Litium’s offering.

“We look forward to becoming part of Litium and continuing to develop one of the market’s most modern SaaS platforms. With Litium’s resources and position, we can accelerate innovation and create even greater customer value,” says Kristian Arvidsson, CEO of Geins.

The acquisition means that Litium immediately strengthens its technological development capacity through Geins’ six employees with deep product and technology expertise. The companies will be fully integrated to create synergies in sales, marketing, product development, and administration.

Litium is already used by successful companies such as RevolutionRace, Jollyroom, Tingstad and Bevego. With Geins’ expertise in AI and automation, new opportunities are added for faster innovation in areas such as AI-driven recommendations, automated processes, and enhanced user experience.

“We see that complementary acquisitions can become an important tool to further accelerate our growth journey. The combination of organic development and strategic acquisitions gives us the best conditions to take a leading position in Europe,” says Martin Billenius, CEO of Litium.
