Since October, Mohamad has been part of Litium’s tech team. With a strong interest in technology and a natural curiosity about how systems work, he has quickly become a valued colleague in the development of Litium’s platform.
For Mohamad, it is above all the collaboration that makes his work meaningful. He describes Litium as a workplace where knowledge is shared generously and where the team solves problems together. Being able to analyze technical challenges and step by step find solutions together with colleagues is something he truly appreciates.
In his role, he works close to the core of the platform. His work involves analyzing technical issues, reproducing them, and developing improvements — from fixing bugs to building new features. Variety is a natural part of his day-to-day work, and something he really enjoys.
What motivates him the most is the opportunity to go deep into technical problems. To analyze, test hypotheses, and ultimately find the root cause. When the solution finally falls into place, often through teamwork, the feeling is both motivating and rewarding.
The fact that Litium develops a product platform within digital commerce was also an important reason why Mohamad chose the company. The industry is evolving rapidly, and technology is advancing at a high pace — not least within AI. Being able to work close to that development and be part of a team that continuously improves the platform is something he values highly.
However, Mohamad’s journey to Litium started much earlier. He was born in Syria and lived there until the age of 13. When the war broke out, his family was forced to leave the country and start over in Sweden.
Starting a new life came with many challenges — learning a new language, adapting to a new culture, and building a new everyday life. Through studies at adult education (Komvux), he moved forward and later began studying computer engineering at KTH, a field that had long fascinated him.
Today, Mohamad lives in Eskilstuna with his parents. In his free time, he enjoys working out, especially at the gym or swimming, and spending time with family and friends. He describes himself as a bit of a tech enthusiast and enjoys trying out new gadgets whenever he gets the chance.
