A new player with high ambitions and complex requirements
AmpSociety introduced the Amp5 charging system, a modular and easy-to-install system for large-scale EV charging. The business model is built on a network of resellers and installers, which places high demands on the digital infrastructure. The platform needed not only to communicate brand and product, it also needed to handle leads, enable partner applications and lay the groundwork for international scaling. And that was only step one.
The next step was to give the entire partner network a shared digital working tool: a place where resellers can plan projects, configure charging sites and move on to ordering without manual intermediate steps. To manage both steps, they needed a platform with strong B2B functionality, proven scalability and the ability to bring all the necessary features together in a single solution.
The website that laid the foundation
On 30 January 2025, AmpSociety's new website launched on Litium. The platform presents Amp5 and offers resellers the opportunity to book demonstrations and apply for partnerships directly online, with efficient lead management and a digital customer experience built to grow internationally.
AmpSociety chose Litium after a carefully conducted evaluation. Decisive factors were the platform's strong support for B2B flows, its scalability and its ability to bring the necessary functionality together in a flexible solution.
"We are very pleased to be live with our new website. AmpSociety is facing an exciting international expansion in which the digital experience is a decisive success factor. After a carefully conducted evaluation, we chose Litium as our platform, now we are live and we look forward to continuing to build our digital presence together," says Niclas Wennerholm, CEO, AmpSociety.
AmpPortal: the entire sales chain in one digital flow
The next step in the collaboration was to digitalise the entire business process for AmpSociety's partner network. Together with Litium partner Toxic, AmpPortal was built on Litium, with the platform's built-in support for complex B2B flows, role-based permissions and system integration as the foundation.
Users can create projects, configure charging sites and build their solution directly in AmpStudio, an integrated 3D configurator. Already in the planning phase, the reseller gains full control of the project, which creates a natural transition to ordering when the deal is ready, without information having to be entered again.
Litium's B2B functionality makes it possible to give sellers, buyers and installers access to the same project with different permissions and views. Through an integration with Business Central, customer data and order information are synchronised in real time, which eliminates manual steps and reduces the risk of errors throughout the chain.

"We have had big ambitions for AmpPortal right from the start, it is so much more than a traditional webshop. AmpPortal is AmpSociety's digital link to resellers, installers, end customers and end users. Toxic understood our needs early on and together, through an iterative way of working and close dialogue, we have developed a user-friendly solution that has brought us closer to AmpSociety's long-term goals. The integration of our configurator, AmpStudio, into AmpPortal has been a central part of the project and placed high demands on both technical problem-solving and creativity. And more is on the way!" Martin Lindahl, business systems manager, AmpSociety
A platform ready for new markets
With the website and AmpPortal in place, AmpSociety has a digital infrastructure that supports the entire business, from brand presence and lead generation to project configuration and ordering. And it is built to grow.
"Through Litium's scalable platform, we can easily adapt and grow in new markets, while offering a seamless and secure buying experience for our B2B customers. Our ambition is to continue delivering long-term and energy-efficient solutions that meet the needs of the market." Niclas Wennerholm, CEO, AmpSociety
Takeaways
AmpSociety's journey shows the value of thinking in stages without losing sight of the whole. The website was not a project in itself, it was the foundation for everything that followed. When AmpPortal launched, the platform, the integration framework and the B2B structure were already in place.
It also shows that a choice of platform is rarely about the immediate need. AmpSociety chose Litium with an eye towards international expansion and future complexity. That the platform could support both a modern brand website and a complex B2B portal with role-based permissions and ERP integration is not a coincidence, it is what flexible and scalable B2B commerce requires.
